The National Peace Council (NPC) engaged the Political Science Students Association (POSSA) of the University of Ghana to discuss how Violent Extremism affects the youth. The goal of the engagement was to reach out to as many young people as possible with anti-Violent Extremism and Terrorism information. The meeting was attended by One hundred (100) students of the association. In the long term, this activity hopes to contribute to Ghana’s efforts to prevent violent extremism by increasing knowledge of Violent Extremism among the young people, and prevent the further recruitment of Ghanaian youth into violent extremist groups. The meeting was held 8th July, 2022 at the Kofi Drah Conference Hall at the University of Ghana.
