“The Electoral Commission Chair, and her team paid a Working Visit to the National Peace Council”

The chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana, Mrs. Jean Mensa, accompanyed by Deputy Chairman, (Corporate Services) Dr. Eric Bossman Asare and other Directors of the EC paid a working visit to the National Peace Council (NPC) as part of the EC’s engagements with key stakeholders.

They were received by the Chairman of the NPC governing board, Rev. Dr. Ernest Adu Gyamfi and other members of the governing board together with Management of NPC.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the existing ties between both institutions and discuss pertinent issues related to the peaceful conduct of the upcoming 2024 general elections. This initiative underscores the commitment of the EC and NPC to ensure peaceful, credible transparent and acceptable electoral processes in the December 7th general elections.
