NPC Salutes outgoing UN Resident Coordinator
The National Peace Council (NPC) commended the strides and efforts of Mr. Charles Abani, the outgoing UN Resident Coordinator in Ghana for his support for inclusive peacebuilding efforts in the country.
Executive Secretary of NPC, Dr. George Amoh, in a brief remark at a Cocktail Reception in Accra, in honour of the outgoing Resident Coordinator (RC), thanked him for his keen interest, commitment and contributions to peace-building efforts in the country.
Shiekh Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu on behalf the NPC, presented a plague as a token of appreciation is his close working relationship and the support received.
Mr. Charles Abani thanked the team and all the partners he worked with, noting that he would cherish the fond memories and friendship he made in Ghana. He urged all to continue doing their best to support the development of country.
Other dignitaries praised Mr Abani for his exceptional leadership skills, affable and for supporting the national development main concern including championing inclusive development of youth, women, PWDs and other marginaslise groups.
