The National Peace Council in collaboration with UNDP Ghana hosted a seven member delegation from the Gambia on Monday, March 18 to Friday, 22 march 2019 on a study tour of Ghana’s Peace Infrastructure.
The Delegation comprises four men and three women from the Office of the President of the Gambia, Ministry of Interior Gambia, Police Service Gambia, WANEP Gambia, ECOWAS and UNDP Gambia.
The delegation gathered information on how Ghana had managed to achieve a peaceful atmosphere in its sociopolitical environment in the sub regions.
They also gathered inform on how the Peace Council is structured, managed and support given by the government and donor agency.
They paid a courtesy call on the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of National Security, Canadian High Commission, Denmark Embassy, WANEP Ghana, kAIPTC, Small Arms Commission, Parliamentary select committee on Defense and Interior.
