DANIDA AFFIRM SUPPORT TO SDG 16 & 13

The Executive secretary of the National Peace Council, Mr. George Amoh joined the Danish Embassy at the project launch to renew its commitment to assisting Ghana’s national and civil societies in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and SDG 13 – Climate Action.

By providing a grant of one million Danish Kroner, the one-year project, launched in collaboration with the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), aims to build capacity and support local actors’ efforts to raise awareness and engagement in the political debate about climate change issues, as well as address challenges in democracy, civic space, freedom of expression, and human rights.
