The Central Regional Peace Council had a radio discussion on the imperative topic of “Peaceful Coexistence in Diversity” on 5th February 2024. The panel comprised of eminent members: Apostle Dr. Ebenezer Boafo, Alhaji Usman Abakah and Mr. Charles Ohene Amoh.
This discussion underscored the urgent need for fostering harmony amidst diversity, advocating for responsible citizenship and respect for democratic processes. Such dialogues serve as vital platforms for promoting civic education and safeguarding the integrity of electoral systems, ultimately contributing to a more peaceful and inclusive society.
Apostle Dr. Ebenezer Boafo emphasized the crucial message that no youth should succumb to political manipulation, particularly in engaging in illicit activities such as double voting, ballot box theft or inciting chaos during elections. He warned of the dire consequences, including arrest or injury, highlighting the stark reality that no rescue would be forthcoming in such situations.
