GARPC Strengthens Capacity of Council Members and staffs.
(GARPC) held an in-house training session at the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (GARCC) Conference Room to build the capacity of Council members and staff. As part of GARPC’s commitment to peace and security, this session aimed to: Enhance knowledge on Violent Extremism, Terrorism (VET), and Vigilantism Strengthen collaboration between the Council & communities in conflict prevention Improve understanding of Act 999 (Vigilantism and Related Offences Act) Expert facilitators: Dr. Afua Boatema Yakohene (Senior Lecturer, University of Ghana) Madam Theodora William Anti (Executive Director, FOSDA) Special appreciation to Rt. Rev. Samuel Kofi Osabutey, Chairman of GARPC, for championing this initiative under the Education and Advocacy Committee.
