“Make Good Use of Your Youthfulness” – Sheikh Armiyawo Urges Students

Youth is power — and Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, Member of the Governing Board of the National Peace Council (NPC), has reminded Ghanaian students to make it count!

Speaking to students of Kinbu Senior High Technical School in Accra, Sheikh Shaibu encouraged them to channel their energy, creativity, and passion into building a purposeful and peaceful future. The engagement formed part of the NPC’s ongoing peace education drive in second-cycle schools aimed at promoting tolerance, discipline, and peaceful coexistence.

“Do not miss the opportunities of your youthful days,” he advised. “Your youth is a gift — use it to learn, to grow, and to prepare yourself for the responsibilities of tomorrow.”

He emphasized that one’s youthful years are a defining moment in life, urging students to stay focused, embrace discipline, and respect others despite differences.

The NPC continues to reach out to young people across Ghana, empowering them with the tools and values needed to become ambassadors of peace in their schools and communities.
