‘We Value NPC’s Work’- German Ambassador

The German Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Daniel Krull, has reiterated the relevance of the National Peace Council (NPC) in promoting dialogue, peaceful coexistence and strengthening Ghana’s democracy.

He commended the Council for its work during the just ended elections, stressing that “we value the work of the Peace Council”. He therefore pledged the commitment of the German Government to continue working with the Council.

The Ambassador made the observations when the NPC led by Dr. George Amoh, Executive Secretary (ES), and a team of Senior Management members paid a courtesy called on him at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Accra.

The meeting focused on areas on strengthening partnership and exploring avenues of conflict prevention and management in the country.

The meeting was attended by Madam Janet Sarney Kumah, Director, Capacity Development and Outreach; Mr. Frank Wilson Bodza, Deputy Director for Conflict Management and Resolution; Mr. Alexander Koomson, Deputy Director, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation and Madam Rita Benewah Yali, Deputy Director Administration & Human Resources.
