Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye is the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, a Global Pentecostal denomination headquartered in Ghana with a presence in over 180 nations under his leadership.

He serves the Chancelor of the Pentecost University of Ghana and the President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC) and chairs and the Ghana Evangelism Committee a lay organization championing nationwide evangelistic initiative.

Apostle Nyamekye, whose ministry started in 1991, is an Advisory Committee Member of the Pentecostal World Followership.

Apostle Nyamekye holds a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon; a Post-Graduate Diploma in Allied Theology from the University of Manchester (UK) and Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Institute of Commercial Management (UK). He is currently pursuing a PhD with the South African Theological Seminary.
