Georgette Awura Dede Francois Esq. is a Private Legal Practitioner with over 40 years professional legal practice and experience in conflict management, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Peacebuilding, Gender sensitive, ADR and peer mediation.

Georgette served as the managing partner of Francois and Associate; a private legal firm based in Accra. Her legal practice focuses on litigation and advice to clients in the areas of family law, commercial and corporate law, real estate and land as well as probate Land administration law.

She also serves as an Executive Director of West African Dispute Resolution Centre which a civil society organization engaged in promotion and advocacy, conflict management, alternative dispute resolution and peacebuilding. In 2002 she received a professional “Training the Trainers” certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from the California State University, Sacramento, USA.

Georgette a member of the Ghana Bar Association, is the Chairperson of the Ghana Association of Certified Mediators and Arbitrators (GHACMA). She is a conflict resolution trainer, who has trained several groups including Chief and Queen Mothers, Judges, lawyers, religious leaders and students.
