SHEIKH SALMAN MOHAMMED ALHASSANBOARD MEMBER

Sheikh Salman Mohammed Alhassan is the Chairman of the National Representative Assembly of Ahlussunna Wal-Jama’a, Ghana (2012-Date) and Chief Imam of Madina-west and its environs, Accra (2020-Date).
Sheik Alhassan is Head Imam of Al-Hashim Masjid (2000 Mosque in Adabraka. Accra); Director of African Foundation for Human Advancement (NGO) involved in education and capacity building for young men and women. He is also the Deputy Director of Al-Hudaibiya Relief Centre (NGO). Director, Upright International School Basic School and Board Chairman of the Bureau of Halal Certification Ghana.
Sheikh holds an MPhil in Religious Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology; a postgraduate Diploma in Education from the King Saud University, Riyadh-Saudi Arabia and Bachelor of Arts in Hadith Sciences, Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia. With a special license in Hadith (Ijaaza) Sheikh is a member of the Union of African Muslim Scholars headquartered in Bamako, Mali; and World Union of Muslim Scholars, Istanbul, Turkey. He is also a member of the Programme for Christian Muslim Relations in Africa, Nairobi, Kenya and Inter-Faith Action for Peace in Africa.
