Ashanti Regional Peace Council, in collaboration with Small Arms Commission, Ghana, organized a transformative peace education session for over 3,000 students of Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School(#OKESS).
Students were taken through lessons on peaceful coexistence, the dangers of illegal arms possession, and the importance of dialogue over violence.
Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Badu Amoah, Regional Executive Secretary, stated: “Illicit arms possession is a growing threat to national security. Let us teach our young people to resolve conflict through non-violence and understanding.”
