Staff of the National Peace Council (NPC) received training on Cyber Security measures to protect personal and organisational information in the Cyber space.
Experts from the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) who engaged the NPC staff yesterday, stressed the need to stay alert on the Internet and avoid fraudsters, scamers and hackers.
They proposed some practical steps to stay safe online, including using strong and unique passwords, and avoid clicking on suspicious links and attachments.
They advised staff not to share personal, organizational, or banking information with strangers or on unsecured platforms, and keep software, systems, and devices updated to reduce security vulnerabilities.
Dr. George Amoh, Executive Secretary of NPC in a remark noted the essence of Cyber Security and its impact on peace in the country and urged staff to take the lessons seriously.
