CENTRAL REGIONAL PEACE COUNCIL (CRPC) – REPORT ON PRESENTATION OF CERTIFICATES TO INTERNS

During the Fourth Quarter Meeting held on 4th December 2025, the Central Regional Peace Council acknowledged and celebrated the contributions of two interns who completed their internship with the Council. Mr. Ezekiel Kaba and Miss Bernice Otabi, both MPhil students (Peace, Security and Development Studies) from the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Cape Coast, undertook their internship from February to November 2025.

Throughout their engagement, the interns demonstrated strong commitment, professionalism, and a genuine interest in advancing peace and conflict resolution initiatives within the region. Their support contributed significantly to the Council’s mandate of promoting sustainable peace, facilitating dialogue, and strengthening community engagement across the Central Region.

In recognition of their dedicated service, the Chairman of the Central Regional Peace Council, Rt. Rev Richardson Aboagye Andam presented each intern with a certificate of completion. He commended them for their invaluable contributions to the Council’s programmes and operations during their stay. The Chairman encouraged them to continue championing peace, dialogue, and mutual understanding in their academic pursuits, professional journeys, and communities.

The Council expressed its appreciation to the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies (UCC) for the continued collaboration and for entrusting its students to the institution for practical field experience. The CRPC looks forward to further partnerships that strengthen the next generation of peacebuilders
