National Peace Council engages Norwegian Ambassador

The Executive Secretary of the National Peace Council (NPC), Dr. George Amoh, paid a courtesy call on the Norwegian Ambassador to Ghana to discuss pertinent issues pertaining to peace.

Dr. Amoh who touched on the peace architecture of the country, highlighted some key initiates the Council implemented over the years including the guidelines, Presidential Peace Pact and advocacy.

He commended the Royal Norwegian Embassy for their support and courted the Ambassadors support in promoting Peace in the country.

The Norwegian Ambassador to Ghana, Dr. John Mikal Kvistad, who commended the NPC for its work in contributing to the peace and stability of Ghana assured the Council of his support in the future.

Present at the meeting were the Deputy Head of Mission Ingrid Skjolaas, Vilde Larsen Nakkim, Second Secretary and Samuel Kofi Nartey, Senior Advisor to the Ambassador.

The entourage with the NPC Executive Secretary included Mr. Frank Wilson Bodza, Deputy Director, Conflict Resolution Management, Mrs. Rita Yali, Deputy Director, Human Resources Management and Administration; Ms. Vivian Debre, and Kwesi Yirenkyi Boateng
