GARPC made a courtesy call to the Narcotics Control Commission- Greater Accra Regional Command

The Council members and staff of the Greater Accra Regional Peace Council, earlier today, made a courtesy call to the SNCO Abdul Aziz Ali, Acting Regional Commander of the Greater Accra Regional Command of the Narcotics Control Commission and staff at his office.

The team, led by Rt. Rev. Samuel Kofi Osabutey, Chairman of GARPC, discussed collaboration between two organizations on peace, narcotics, and security issues:

  • Building a cooperative relationships and collaborative public sensitization
  • Sharing institutional goodwill to foster collaboration and mutual support
  • Exploring innovative strategies to tackle youth issues by integrating peacebuilding concepts with approaches for drug demand reduction.

The Acting Regional Commander expressed his appreciation for the Council’s continuous efforts in promoting peace and stability in the country and emphasized his commitment to working together to promote peace, combat narcotics, and enhance national safety and security in the region.
