National Peace Council RME Department visits Greater Accra Peace Council
The Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (RME) Department of the National Peace Council (NPC) paid a courtesy visit to the Greater Accra Regional Peace Council Secretariat as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration, familiarize themselves with staff, and enhance peacebuilding initiatives in the region.
The delegation, led by the Director of Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr. Abdallah Quandah Suallah, commended the regional officers for their dedication and valuable contributions to promoting peace and social cohesion within the Greater Accra Region.
During the engagement, Mr. Samuel Okoh Mensah, the Regional Executive Secretary, highlighted the progress being made through collaborative initiatives, particularly in sensitizing school communities against violence. He also shared some of the challenges facing the Secretariat in the execution of its mandate.
Mr. Mensah expressed appreciation to the RME team for the visit and called for continued support to sustain and strengthen the work of the National Peace Council across the country.
