The Central Regional Peace Council (CRPC) conducted a peace education session for students at Assin Manso Senior High School, focusing on the Vigilantism and Related Offences Act (Act 999), student violence, and responsible conflict resolution.
Objectives of the Program
The initiative aimed to:
- Educate students on the provisions of the Vigilantism and Related Offences Act (Act 999).
- Raise awareness of the consequences of student violence.
- Promote peaceful conflict resolution and responsible reporting within the school environment.
Expected Outcomes
The program sought to:
- Improve students’ understanding of the legal and social implications of violence.
- Increase confidence in reporting wrongdoing.
- Strengthen commitment to peaceful and lawful behavior among students.
