National Prayer Committee Calls on NPC BOARD

The Standing Committee of the National Prayer and Thanksgiving Day led by Mr. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah paid a courtesy call on the Governing Board of the National Peace Council (NPC).

The focus of the meeting was to inform and collaborate with the Council in observing the day on July 1, 2026. Mr Afriyie Ankrah stated that this years theme: Resetting Our Values to Build the Ghana We Want, would reinvigorate the collective Ghanaian consciousness to appreciate Values that promote peace, unity and development.

The Chairman of the Governing Board, Most Rev. Emmanuel Kofi Fianu, who welcomed the idea to collaborate with the Council, expressed the hope of working together with the team for a fruitful Prayer Day.
