Peace Council holds Election Planning Retreat

The National Peace Council organized an Election Planning Retreat for its Regional Council Chairpersons on April 4, 2024, in Accra. The objective of the retreat was to reiterate the Council’s mandate, vision, and mission; and to harmonize all peacebuilding activities from the national to the regional offices ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Also, it was an opportunity for the Governing Board to familiarize themselves and network with the Regional Council Chairpersons.

In addition to the Governing Board and the Regional Council Chairpersons, the newly appointed Minister for the Interior, Honorable Henry Quartey; Deputy Minister for the Interior, Madam Naana Eyiah; Acting Chief Director of the Ministry, Mrs. Doreen P. Annan, and the Ministry’s Technical Advisor, Baba Bawumia graced the occasion.
