The National Peace Council, in collaboration with local organizations including the Kete-Krachi Muslim Council, Ke-Krachi Youth Association, Konkomba Youth Association, Local Council of Churches, and Krachi Women Association, conducted a Community Engagement on Non-Violence, Youth Inclusion, and Social Cohesion in Krachi West Municipal. The program brought together youth leaders, traditional authorities, religious leaders, security agencies, and community stakeholders to promote peace, dialogue, and collaboration.

Objectives of the Program

The engagement aimed to:

  • Promote non-violent approaches to conflict resolution.
  • Strengthen youth participation in peacebuilding and local governance.
  • Enhance social cohesion among diverse groups within the district.

Expected Outcomes

The program sought to:

  • Increase awareness of non-violence and peaceful coexistence.
